Following the death of a person with overseas assets there is often a requirement for documents relating to the deceased to be Legalised by Apostille and presented overseas. The estate of the deceased may include property or other assets that are based one or more countries overseas. If this is the case, the relevant country jurisdiction may require the last will and testament, court issued grant of probate and death certificate to be issued with an Apostille Certificate. This is often requested by overseas authorities before the release of assets is granted. There can sometimes be oher documents that require the Apostille but in our years of experience, the Will, the Grant of Probate and Death Certificate are usually sufficient in normal cases.
We can Apostille the Grant of Probate (known as the Grant of Confirmation in Scotland), grant of letters of administration document and a copy or original Last Will and Testament. If you do not have the aformentioned documents, you'll be pleased to know that we can also provide all of these (please refer to the menus at the top of each page).
We can issue the Apostille Stamp on 99% of documents within the UK countries or Ireland documents. There are a few basic rules that apply to handling your documents but we take care of everything for you.
When processing these documents, we may need to verify the origin of the document. This may require employing the services of several institutes and organisations to verify the document. However, regardless of the additional time and cost we may need to expend, you will only the pay the original fixed fee. Due to our vast expertise, experience and long running relationships within various organisations, we are able to offer a wide range of service levels to suit your requirements.
